Although most of my songs are inspired by actual feelings and events that are going on in my life, “Surrender” was completely random. I still have no idea where it came from, but it ended up being one of my favorite songs on the record. Written with Noel Cohen, who has written songs for such artists as Vitamin C- Danielle Bollinger- Phyllis Hyman & The Weather Girls.
